Driving Directions

• Airport to Liberty Park

  Open [+]

  To get from the Birmingham Airport to Vulcan’s Liberty Park office, exit the airport and continue until I-20 interchange. Go under the interchange and turn left onto I-20 East (toward Atlanta). Continue on I-20 for about 7.5 miles until you reach I-459 (Exit 136). Turn onto I-459 South and head south for about 5 miles.

  Take Exit 23 from I-459. At the top of the exit ramp turn left. Turn right again at Overton Road. Proceed through the Stop sign. At the first stoplight, turn left onto Urban Center Parkway, and seek the right lane. Take the first right onto Urban Center Drive. Vulcan’s building (1200) is the second one on the right. Use the visitor parking directly in front of the building, and if full, take the next left to find additional parking.

• Airport to Area Hotels

  To get from the Birmingham Airport to the hotels near our office, exit the airport and continue until I-20 interchange. Go under the interchange and turn left onto I-20 East (toward Atlanta). Continue on I-20 for about 7.5 miles until you reach I-459. Turn onto I-459 South and head south.

  You will pass Vulcan’s office building on the way; it will be on your left when you see the replica of the Statue of Liberty.

  Once you pass the Statue of Liberty, continue for about 3 more miles until the Mountain Brook/Highway 280 exit, number 19. Take the left fork of this exit to circle over US-280 (do not go UP the hill), then take a right onto US-280.

  For Liberty Park Hotel (Hilton Garden Inn)

  Follow directions to the office here.

  For Colonnade area hotels (Courtyard, Hilton, Springhill Suites)

  Stay in the right lane and take first right onto Colonnade Drive. Take a left at the traffic light onto Colonnade Parkway and the hotels will be in this area.

  For US-280 area hotels (Drury, Hyatt Place, Marriott)

  These hotels are all within visual sight within the next mile.

• Hotels to Liberty Park

  Open [+]

  Exit the hotel area and head west on US-280 back toward I-459. Go north on I-459. for about 4 miles until Exit 23. You will pass Vulcan's Liberty Park building on the way (about 3 miles into the trip); it will be on your right shortly before you exit.

  Take Exit 23 from I-459. At the top of the exit ramp turn right. Turn right again onto Overton Road. Proceed through the Stop sign. At the first stoplight, turn left onto Urban Center Parkway, and seek the right lane. Take the first right onto Urban Center Drive. Vulcan’s building (1200) is the second one on the right. Use the visitor parking directly in front of the building, and if full, take the next left to find additional parking.

• Downtown Birmingham to Liberty Park

  To get from Downtown Birmingham to Vulcan’s Liberty Park office, take US-280 East (approximately 5 miles), then north on I-459 for about 4 miles and take Exit 23 towards Liberty Park. At the top of the exit ramp turn right. Turn right again onto Overton Road. Proceed through the Stop sign. At the first stoplight, turn left onto Urban Center Parkway, and seek the right lane. Take the first right onto Urban Center Drive. Vulcan’s building (1200) is the second one on the right. Use the visitor parking directly in front of the building, and if full, take the next left to find additional parking.

• Alexander City to Liberty Park

  Open [+]

  To get from Alexander City to Vulcan’s Liberty Park office, take US-280 West (approximately 62 miles), then North on I-459 toward Atlanta/Montgomery for about 4 miles and take exit 23 towards Liberty Park. At the top of the exit ramp turn right. Turn right again onto Overton Road. Proceed through the Stop sign. At the first stoplight, turn left onto Urban Center Parkway, and seek the right lane. Take the first right onto Urban Center Drive. Vulcan’s building (1200) is the second one on the right. Use the visitor parking directly in front of the building, and if full, take the next left to find additional parking.

• Tuscaloosa to Liberty Park

  Open [+]

  To get from Tuscaloosa to Vulcan’s Liberty Park office, take I-459 South (approximately 2 miles), take I-20/I-59 North toward Birmingham for approximately 35 miles, take exit 106 to merge onto I-459 North toward Atlanta/Montgomery for about 24 miles and take exit 23 towards Liberty Park. At the top of the exit ramp turn right. Turn right again onto Overton Road. Proceed through the Stop sign. At the first stoplight, turn left onto Urban Center Parkway, and seek the right lane. Take the first right onto Urban Center Drive. Vulcan’s building (1200) is the second one on the right. Use the visitor parking directly in front of the building, and if full, take the next left to find additional parking.
